Is it a hit or a miss? Here's my take

The staff was lovely and provided excellent service, even trying to help with our local plans! Plus, the location near the gorge is fantastic!

A couple of nearby dining options were closed . Enjoying the hotel breakfast was limited without catering to individual dietary needs.

The units are fashionable, good-sized with a very zen garden...

It was reasonably clean, everyone was excellent. My double room with comfy bed and a very zen garden plus a sofa was large. The location was central, near to gorge, shrine, convenience stall and food as well as restaurants. I recommend the place.

Consider reserving a table for dinner in advance to avoid missing out, as it can fill up quickly despite empty tables.

It made my trip to Takachiho a such wonderful experience. Modern hotel in a rural area, the staff were excellent! The location close to city centre was particularly good. Also, a freshwater aquarium was 2 miles away from the property.

What an excellent stay! Stylish rooms with modern decor and an egg-shaped bathtub created a spa-like ambiance. The breakfast with a great coffee selection and service was a delight. Close to Takachiho Jinja and scenic beauty, though dining options in the area could be more abundant. A great experience overall!

A family trip to Solest was refreshing. The stylish twin room with terrace brought a spa-like feel, especially with the egg-shaped bathtub and upscale amenities. Breakfast blew me away. A proper coffee machine led to amazing iced coffees paired with delicious toast. The front desk staff offered thoughtful recommendations, even providing cushions for our local performance outing. Free parking made everything easier too. No family rooms forced us to book two separate rooms. It was nice they placed us close, but a single family room would have been ideal. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the Takachiho gorge and local restaurants, but some nearby places were closed during our weekend stay. Facilities could include some coffee or tea options available all day rather than just breakfast, which would be a plus. Still, a great overall experience!

Housekeeping entered my room despite the Do Not Disturb sign shortly before checkout. The cleanliness under the couch cushions left much to be desired, revealing dirt and trash, showing the need for better attention to detail.

It was just a good match for a break on a long journey in Takachiho with good value for cost. I appreciated having access to free parking, made traveling around easier. Make sure to reserve any meals you want beforehand to avoid disappointment.

Super clean and modern vibes! The staff were super friendly and went outta their way to help us out, even with finding good spots to grab dinner. Free parking made it easy peasy to get around.

the bathroom was a bit unconventional, with the sink outside of the enclosed area. however, the location was great for exploring key tourist spots, and the beds were quite spacious. staff were very friendly and helpful too.

The unit we got was beautifully designed with a very zen garden and a great tub. the location was unbeatable, just a short walk from the old town. - the hotel was a 25-minute walk from Manai Falls.

We enjoyed our two-night stay here, it was really nice.
